The city of Udine is situated in the North Eastern part of Italy, about 90 km from Austrian frontiers and 40 km from Slovenia. It can be easily reached by Plane from Venice and Trieste airports by train and bus services.

By Plane - Venice

Venice Airport - Marco Polo is one of the main Italian airports connected to many European destinations, United States and Russian Federation.

From Venice Airport take the Bus to Mestre Railway Station (Trenitalia) using either ATVO Bus connection or ACTV Bus connection (BUS no. 15).

Then take trains to Udine (line Venezia-Udine-Trieste).  Hourly trains are available from Venezia-mestre station to Udine. For information and timetable go to Ferrovie dello Stato website. Warning: summer schedule available after June 10th.

By Plane - Treviso

Treviso Airport - Canova, international airport with many low cost airlines connecting several Italian and European destinations.

From Treviso Airport take the public ACTT bus no.6 to the Treviso Railway station and then the train to Udine  Ferrovie dello Stato.

By Plane - Trieste

Trieste- Ronchi dei Legionari international airport connecting some italian and european cities. 

From Trieste Airport take the direct bus to Udine (30' trip). Timetable is on the airport website. 

By Train

Check the Ferrovie dello Stato website for trains from any Italian city and Austria.

By Car

A4 Torino-Trieste motorway, A23 Udine-Tarvisio motorway. Exit “Udine sud”. For information go to Autovie Venete and Autostrade websites.
