Internet access
Internet connection in the conference area is available with Eduroam service. If your University belongs to this network you can use the same password to access the service.
For those not having access to Eduroam free wi-fi in the conference area will be available on site by filling the application form (download here) and giving to the desk a copy of your ID document. You will be given a personal password to access the service. Use of service is in accordance with Italian laws.
The same password can be used for Internet connection in Residenza Universitaria Renati In this case you need to be equipped with a connecting cable to LAN network.
Internet connection in Residence Le Grazie is available and free, provided you are equipped with a connecting cable to LAN network.
Connections from and to Venice Airport
Connection from Venice Airport to Venezia-Mestre railway station are provided with bus service and taxi.

How to reach the Conference venue and the Residences Renati and Le Grazie from the railway station
The Conference venue and the two Residences (Renati and Le Grazie) can be reached from the railway station in the following ways:
1. taking a taxi to Via Tomadini 3A for Renati and via Tomadini 30 for the Conference venue; 2. taking a taxi to Via Pracchiuso 21 for Le Grazie;
3. walking following the indications found in the map that can be downloaded here.
-IMPORTANT- If you plan to arrive at University residences (Renati and Le Grazie) Saturday or Sunday at late hours please inform us by e-mail (info-icfe8@uniud.it) of your estimate arrival time.
Registration
Registration desk (@ conference venue, via Tomadini 30) will open Sunday from 14:00 to 18:30 and Monday through Thursday 8:30-12:00/14:00-17:00.
The participants who have to pay on site registration fees/banquet and lunch tickets are kindly requested to pay with cash, as on site payments using credit or debit cards will not be available.
Lunch at the University Cafeteria
The participants who have booked the lunch at the University Cafeteria will find it in Via Tomadini 13, just on the other side of the street in front of the Conference venue.
Oral presentations
Each Conference room will be attended by two session assistants wearing an orange T-shirt with the ICFE8 logo. Devices fitted with laser pointers and slide changers will be available to the speakers. The formats allowed for the presentations are .ppt and .pdf. The Conference rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art computers; we point out that the use of personal laptops is strongly not encouraged. The files containing the presentations must be uploaded, with the help of the session assistants, either during the break preceding the oral session in which the presentation is included, or the day before.
Poster presentations
The maximum size for the posters is 85 cm (wide) x 130 cm (high). The posters should be displayed during the entire poster session and removed at end of the session.
